Omega-3 fatty acids
Omega-3 fatty acids participate in the synthesis of prostaglandins in the body. Prostaglandins participate in several physiological function (blood pressure, blood clotting, neural impulse conduction, allergic reaction and inflammatory process in kidney and gastrointestinal tract and hormone production) regulation processes. Therefore the fatty acids themselves indirectly participate in the realization of these functions in the body. Omega-3 fatty acids are needed by our retina, to provide good eyesight, and also they help to ensure absorption of fat soluble vitamins - A, D, E and K.
